Prices Drop Across The Board
Still struggling to live up to crazy 2018 numbers, greater Seattle area home prices dropped across the board in July. Time will tell if this is the seasonal fluctuation of a balanced market, or an indication of further correction?
July 2019 year over year market statistics:
Median price, single family homes; Seattle down 6.2%, Eastside down 2.4%, North King County down 1.3%, overall King County down 2.7%, overall Snohomish County up 5.4%.
Median price, condos; Seattle down 12.4%, Eastside up 1.5%, North King County down 5.9%, overall King County down 3.4%, overall Snohomish County up 8.8%.
2019 Seattle single family home median price by month: January: 712K, February: 730K, March: 753K, April: 754K, May: 785K, June 781K, July: 755K.
